About me
Greetings! I'm Saleh Ahmed Shafin, but most people call me Shafin. I’m from Dhaka, Bangladesh, and I currently work as an AI Engineer at Codemen Solutions Limited. I graduated with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering. My passion lies in learning new technologies and conducting research, specializing in agentic AI systems, multi-agent orchestration, and using my knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.
In my current role at Codemen Solutions Limited, I architected Alex, a multi-agent Lead Orchestrator that autonomously routes complex requests across 16 specialized skill agents to serve global enterprise clients. I have extensive experience building advanced LLM/RAG pipelines (Vector, Graph, and Hybrid search using LangChain and LlamaIndex) for business-document intelligence, automated PO processing, and functional software prototype generation. By developing persistent memory systems like Lore, I help AI agents retain context over thousands of sessions. I work heavily with FastAPI, Django, Python, and various Vector/Graph databases, using Docker and AWS for seamless deployment while collaborating with a global engineering team.
Before transitioning fully into AI engineering, I worked as a Premium Freelance Marketer at EGEN, where I gained expertise in SEO, content marketing, and data analysis. This experience enhanced my technical acumen and strengthened my adaptability in diverse professional environments.
Throughout my journey, I have participated in several hackathons and datathons, achieving notable success. Recently, I secured 4th place in the Nascenia AI Hackathon (Bengali Medical Dialogue Generation) and 5th place in the IUT Bengali.AI (ASR for Regional Dialects). My previous achievements include 4th place in the ML Olympiad - CO2 Emissions Prediction Challenge, 10th place in the DU DataVerse Challenge - ITVerse 2023, 16th place in the BUET DL Sprint 2.0, and 23rd place in the Robi Datathon 3.0. These experiences have significantly sharpened my problem-solving abilities.
I have a strong interest in the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, NLP, and Explainable AI (XAI). From building multimodal event identification systems to utilizing deep neural networks for crop and lung disease detection, I am fascinated by how ML and Deep Learning can solve real-world problems. I even recently published research on Explainable Lung Disease Classification from Chest X-Ray Images.
I am continuously exploring new ways to stay at the forefront of AI technology. Additionally, I am open to mentoring, creating educational content, and would love to connect with anyone interested in collaborating on exciting opportunities.
